We are seeking a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead and optimize the operations of our energy facility. This role will be responsible for ensuring operational efficiency, aligning with environmental, health, and safety regulations, managing budgets, and collaborating with management to establish and improve production strategies. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, extensive experience in factory operations, and a proven ability to drive operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and maximize the operational efficiency of the energy facility.

  • Ensure alignment with environmental, health, and safety regulations, maintaining compliance at all levels.

  • Manage the operational budget, ensuring cost-effective resource utilization.

  • Coordinate with senior management to establish and enhance production processes and strategies.

  • Lead and develop operational teams, ensuring a high-performance work culture.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, focusing on efficiency, productivity, and sustainability.

  • Implement best practices in manufacturing operations, ensuring optimal output and quality control.

  • Identify and mitigate operational risks, ensuring smooth and safe plant operations.

  • Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and excellence within the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 8+ years in factory operations, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.

  • Factory Operations Knowledge: Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production workflows, and operational efficiency.

  • Product expertise: Renewable energy, mass, hydrogen, or sustainable energy sectors.

  • Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of biomass conversion technology to hydrogen, including gasification, pyrolysis, and electrolysis processes.

  • Leadership & Communication: Demonstrated leadership experience with excellent communication and coordination skills.

  • Regulatory Compliance: Knowledge of environmental, health, and safety (EHS) regulations and the ability to ensure compliance.

  • Budget Management: Experience in operational budgeting, resource allocation, and cost control.

  • Strategic Planning: Ability to work with executive management to establish and enhance production strategies.

  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and decision-making skills to optimize factory performance.

  • Process Improvement: Experience in implementing process improvements and lean manufacturing principles to enhance operational efficiency.
