Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the accurate and timely preparation and submission of UK VAT returns.
- Manage the preparation and submission of Self- Assessment tax returns for relevant individuals.
- Handle the preparation and submission of Corporation Tax returns, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations.
- Manage the full payroll process, ensuring accurate and timely payments and compliance with UK payroll legislation.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Ensure accurate payroll processing and compliance with UK payroll regulations.
- Oversee bookkeeping and record-keeping transactions, ensuring accuracy completeness.
Key requirements:
- 4+ years experience in UK bookkeeping. Experience in finance and accounting, with a strong emphasis on UK tax compliance, payroll, and company secretarial duties.
- Proven expertise in preparing and submitting UK VAT returns, Self Assessments, and Corporation Tax returns.
- Good knowledge and experience in MS Excel and bookkeeping in Xero and Dext would be an added advantage.
- Following or completing a relevant degree program or professional qualification in CIMA / ACCA/CMA / AAT/CA.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, leadership, and interpersonal skills
