As Business Expansion Manager, you will play a critical role in driving the brand’s growth strategy in Indonesia. You’ll be responsible for identifying and securing new retail locations, managing store openings, and building strategic partnerships with landlords, developers, and government authorities. You will be a key driver in achieving the brand’s ambitious expansion goals in Indonesia and Southeast Asia.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead site identification, surveying, evaluation, and proposal for new retail locations across Indonesia

• Analyze market trends and business reports to recommend strategic site selections and improvements

• Negotiate lease and tenancy terms to ensure favorable conditions for the company

• Manage the end-to-end store opening process and attend key mall and corporate events

• Review and mitigate legal risks in tenancy agreements in collaboration with legal advisors

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with landlords, developers, landowners, and local councils

• Collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure timely and successful store launches

• Ensure all retail openings meet company KPIs and comply with internal and external SOPs and regulations

• Liaise with government officials and understand local regulations to ensure full legal compliance

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Retail/Property Management, Real Estate, Business, or a related field

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in retail expansion, leasing, or business development—preferably in fashion retail, but experience in electronics or F&B retail is also welcome

• Strong network with key stakeholders in the retail property sector, including landlords, developers, and local authorities

• Proven track record in managing store development projects (e.g. scrap and build, renovations)

• Sound legal understanding of tenancy and leasing regulations

• Highly organized, proactive, and independent with strong project management skills

• Excellent communication in English, Mandarin is a plus

• Willing to travel locally and internationally as needed
