Our client is a multinational Chinese employer which is providing network tools, network services, and telecommunication related needs. Our client's headquarter is based on Shenzhen, Guangdong who's established in 1987. This company is starting to produce phone switches, and now developed into creating the telco network providers which is not only tools, but also the complex service for domestic and international coverage. Their products are reaching more than 170 countries with more than 195,000 employees.

We are looking for an experienced and proactive IP Datacom Product Manager to drive the growth and adoption of advanced data communication solutions within the Indonesian carrier market. This role is pivotal in shaping product strategy, strengthening client relationships, and ensuring solution competitiveness across diverse network scenarios. You will act as a key link between product development, sales, and clients, guiding strategic engagements to build market leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote IP Datacom solutions and develop product strategies tailored to the carrier market in Indonesia.
  • Serve as a liaison between the technical team and clients, clearly communicating product capabilities and customer requirements.
  • Establish and maintain strong client relationships to understand their evolving needs and ensure long-term business growth.
  • Plan and support branding and marketing initiatives targeting the carrier business sector.
  • Represent the company at industry events, technical forums, and conferences to enhance solution visibility and gather market intelligence.
  • Monitor competitor activities, analyze market trends, and develop effective strategies to differentiate offerings.
  • Conduct internal knowledge sharing sessions and provide training support to the sales and pre-sales teams.
  • Deliver impactful product presentations to clients and stakeholders, increasing awareness and understanding of the solution portfolio.
  • Define mid-to-long term product development goals, resource needs, and market entry strategies to guide the team’s direction and drive sustainable growth.
  • Ensure competitiveness of proposed solutions by developing customized, scenario-based responses to client and market demands.

Projects & Scope

You will be involved in strategic carrier-level networking projects that may include large-scale backbone, aggregation, and access network solutions for various industries such as finance, telecom, and government. You’ll lead cross-functional collaboration to align customer requirements with innovative solution development.

Minimum Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related ICT disciplines.
  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in product or solution sales within the ICT or carrier networking sector.
  • Strong technical foundation in data communication technologies: In-depth knowledge of routers, switches, and carrier-grade network architecture. Proficient in networking protocols: IGP, BGP, SR, MPLS, SRv6, L2VPN, L3VPN, etc. Solid understanding of network security (e.g., firewalls) and financial industry network environments.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a cross-functional and cross-cultural environment.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience in project operations and transaction management.
  • Proven track record of influencing local industry ecosystems and building trust with key stakeholders.
