Role Description: This is a vital role that requires quality engineering and technical capabilities. The role has direct client exposure in delivering software solutions.
Responsibilities :
• Build competencies in the product and technology domain to meet specified standards
• Demonstrate strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Contribute to comprehensive test planning, design, and execution under the guidance of a lead, ensuring quality throughout the entire product life cycle.
• Follows the Swivel or Project processes, agile practices and motivates his/her team members to do so.
• Makes optimum utilization of engineering tools and technologies to maintain a high productivity level in the team.
• Provides realistic and accurate estimates and achieve on-time Delivery.
• Maintain an individualistic approach to thinking and decision-making.
• Coordinate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders, gathering requirements and resolving issues.
• Escalate and communicate issues, risks, and concerns to leads or managers.
• Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Display a proactive drive to learn and consistently improve work performance.
Years of Experience: Minimum of 2 years of Quality Engineering experience is required.
Must Have Skills:
Software testing & quality engineering process experience: 1 year
o Test planning
o Test design
o Test execution
o Reporting
• Test case management tools and defect management tools
• Strong communication in English
• Experience with Agile Software Development
• Good knowledge of SQL and scripting
Nice to Have Skills:
• Test automation scripting knowledge
• Basic Knowledge of SCM tools and CI/CD tools
Open to Upskill:
• Candidate should be open to upskill and move to emerging technologies and trends in quality engineering and test automation.
