Job Description:

We are currently looking for a Director- Internal Audit (Consulting) in the Energy & Utilities Practice. We are seeking candidates with a strong consulting background, preferably from the Big 4 or other top-tier consulting firms, with expertise in Oil & Gas and Manufacturing industries (Heavy machineries or similar). This role requires a combination of leadership, business development, and delivery capabilities. Ideal Candidate Profile: ● Bilingual (Arabic) or Western Expatriates with consulting experience, currently in the GCC region ● Currently or previously associated with a Big 4 or equivalent consulting firm ● Proven experience in business development and client management ● Significant Middle East/Saudi Arabia market exposure

Key Experience Areas: ● Internal Audit of Oil & Gas and Manufacturing portfolios ● Team Management in cross-functional engagements ● P&L responsibility, Business Development, and Delivery Ownership ● Hands-on exposure to the Saudi or GCC region The Director role is critical for identifying opportunities, managing client relationships, and growing the Energy & Utilities practice. The candidate must be a strong leader with excellent client-facing and strategic delivery capabilities.

Role Responsibilities:

● Lead internal audit engagements in Oil & Gas, Power, and Utilities sectors

● Supervise teams across various client projects ensuring high-quality deliverables. ● Build strong relationships with senior client stakeholders. ● Plan, develop, and monitor audit operations including risk assessments. ● Conduct proposal meetings, respond to RFPs, and generate new business opportunities. ● Represent the firm in industry forums and professional associations. ● Drive internal knowledge-sharing and capability building sessions. ● Responsible for hiring, coaching, and performance evaluation of team members. ● Oversee project delivery timelines and commercial performance.

Practice Focus Areas: Internal Audit: ● Financial, operational, and project audits in Oil & Gas and Power sectors. Consulting: ● Market assessment ● Business entry and planning ● Strategy development ● Regulatory and commercial analysis ● Bid advisory ● Financial modeling ● Project management ● Operational efficiency improvements

Desired Candidate Profile:

● Bachelor’s degree; Postgraduate in Finance, Strategy, Economics, Petroleum from a top-tier institution. ● Minimum 12 years of relevant experience in internal audit, consulting, or advisory roles. ● Deep domain knowledge in Oil & Gas/Power/Utilities across: ○ Exploration & production ○ Transmission/distribution ○ Shale gas/alternate energy ● Strong network in the GCC business landscape ● Demonstrated experience in managing large teams and business functions ● Excellent written and verbal communication skills ● Willingness and flexibility to travel across the region
