Job Profile
- Lead strategic discussions with suppliers on pricing, terms of trade, and product development to support category goals.
- Ensure suppliers are aligned with the category framework and actively contribute to category objectives.
- Build and nurture strong, long-term partnerships with key suppliers to drive sustainable category growth.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to align supplier terms, pricing, and product offerings with category strategies.
- Provide regular updates, performance feedback, and insights on category development to internal stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Marketing, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in category management, supplier relations, sourcing, or procurement (retail or Hospitality industry experience preferred).
- Strong ability to negotiate favorable terms with suppliers, ensuring profitability and competitiveness
- In-depth understanding of trade terms and strategic sourcing & procurement aspects
- Effective communication skills with internal teams and suppliers, ensuring alignment and smooth collaboration.
- Ability to establish and maintain long-term, strategic partnerships with suppliers
