Job Description:

Locations : Gujrat- Surat & Maharashtra- Mumbai

Role Summery :

Key Responsibilities:

• Setup sales & distribution of the Trade Generics business for the promoter – Drive pilot launch of the trade generics business in select states : establish & manage the Direct-to-retail model and then scale to pan India

• Oversee sales team hiring for the pilot launch and then scale-up

• Initially report to promoter and later to BU head

Educational Qualification: Bachelors:

• 5+ years of sales & distribution experience (In Pharma or FMCG); Experience with Direct-to-Retail model of distribution is MUST

• Relevant roles: Regional sales manager, State sales manager, Area sales manager in the trade generics division of a pharmaceutical company

• Prior experience of setting up sales distribution from scratch for a new pharma company is preferred

GTM & Channel Strategy :

• Build Micro-market & channel focus - Sizing & territory mapping, District-wise target setting & stockiest/ chemist action plan

• Design Pricing strategy & schemes, oversee price monitoring & governance

• Develop Salesforce effectiveness plan - Chemist segmentation, FF sizing, coverage & Beat planning, IC planning & Sales reviews setup

• Enable Chemist engagement - Channel archetyping Loyalty programs, governance

Team Buildout :

• Sales Team buildout - Drive hiring of the sales team

• Overall management of training programs design & execution for the sales teams on value proposition & product spec.

Pilot launch & pan India scale-up :

• Drive the pilot launch in MH/ GJ

• Guide creation of playbooks to capture learnings from pilot, to implement for pan- India launch

• Scale-up salesforce & setup governance for pan India launch

Required Qualification: Graduate
