Position Overview
As a Senior Salesforce Engineer, you will lead the administration, configuration, and optimization of our Salesforce platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support marketing, sales, and customer success initiatives, ensuring seamless operations and data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and configure Salesforce environments to meet business requirements.
- Design, implement, and maintain custom objects, workflows, process builders, flows, validation rules, and reports/dashboards.
- Integrate Salesforce with Marketing Tech Platforms (e.g., Braze, HubSpot or Pardot) to streamline marketing automation and campaign management.
- Manage user accounts, roles, profiles, sharing rules, and security settings to ensure data integrity and compliance.
- Collaborate with IT teams to gather requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and drive adoption.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement proactive solutions to enhance platform reliability.
- Stay updated on Salesforce releases, features, and best practices, recommending enhancements to improve functionality.
- Provide training, documentation, and support to end-users to maximize platform utilization.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and maintain data quality standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 4+ years of industry experience in Salesforce Development or Administration.
- Salesforce Administrator Certification or Salesforce Developer Certification is desired.
- Experience in configuring and integrating Salesforce with marketing automation tools is a plus.
- Experience with Salesforce Lightning, Apex, Visualforce, or SOQL is desired.
- Familiarity with data integration tools (e.g., MuleSoft, Zapier, or Salesforce Data Loader).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Experience leading projects or mentoring juniors is a plus.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Asana).
