Role Overview
We are seeking a highly capable and experienced Senior Marketing Engineer to lead strategic marketing and business development initiatives in Indonesia. This role is instrumental in identifying and securing high-potential clients for our premium fan and ventilation systems. You will work closely with the Indonesian Senior Marketing Manager and our regional office in Singapore to drive complex sales processes from lead generation to deal closure.
The ideal candidate has a strong technical background, proven experience in industrial B2B sales, and a deep understanding of customer needs within sectors such as HVAC, manufacturing, data centers, or cleanroom environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, approach, and develop relationships with prospective clients in key industries.
- Analyze market trends and client requirements to formulate targeted marketing strategies.
- Prepare and deliver persuasive technical presentations and proposals to decision-makers.
- Lead negotiations and coordinate with internal teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Collaborate with regional teams to align local initiatives with global sales objectives.
- Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and customer meetings.
- Provide mentorship or guidance to junior team members when needed.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or a related field).
- Minimum 4 years of experience in technical sales, marketing, or business development, preferably in HVAC or industrial equipment sectors.
- Extensive network with M&E Consultants: Proven connections and influence among Mechanical & Electrical Consultants in the building services industry.
- Experienced in handling European machinery sales is highly preferred.
- Experienced in HVAC, data centers, manufacturing, cleanrooms, energy are preferred.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to understand complex technical systems and convey them clearly to clients.
- Proficient in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
- Willingness to travel within Indonesia.
