Role Overview:
We are looking for a results-oriented Business Development professional to drive key account acquisition, merchant onboarding, and market expansion in Indonesia’s e-commerce sector. The role involves lead generation, merchant incubation, competitor analysis, and partner retention through strategic collaboration and process optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate and acquire leads by targeting key account brand or merchant based on comprehensive market intelligence.
- Responsible for incubating newly joined merchants to ensure their GMV meets the expected targets.
- Conduct local competitive research, have a strong understanding of the Indonesian market and competitors' strategies, and provide valuable insights to help companies expand the market rapidly.
- Responsible for retaining existing merchant accounts or brands through networking.
- Responsible for ensuring a smooth onboarding journey by improving, standardizing, and optimizing processes in collaboration with relevant teams.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Management, Business, Marketing, Finance, or any related field.
- Minimum 2 years of working experience as a Business Development, Key Account Manager, Account Manager, Brand Acquisition, or in any other relevant role within the E-commerce industry.
- Fluent in Mandarin is a must, both verbally and written.
- Demonstrated success in exceeding sales objectives using a solution-focused, action-biased, and creative approach.
- Works well with cross-functional teams, maintaining a positive, team-player mindset.
- Exceptional oral and written communication and presentation skills to manage and negotiate with various partners.
- Strong data management ability or willingness to learn is a must.
