ASSISTANT MANAGER - BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
Our fast growth and planned expansion have created new positions in Business Development.
The primary responsibility of this role is to generate new leads and conduct cold calling whilst working closely with the business development team, monitoring daily tasks and calls to ensure a smooth process. The role also requires managing the handover of the converted sales to the operations team to ensure timely order processing and delivery.
Key Responsibilities;
· Commit to self-learning and partner with the supervisor to gain insights into the current business and perform thorough research to discover new market trends, promising opportunities, and potential clients.
· Lead Generation and Cold Calling:
- Generate new leads by identifying and targeting potential accounts.
- Conduct cold calls to convert leads into meetings as per set agreed weekly/ monthly targets.
· Collaboration and Monitoring:
- Work closely with the business development team to monitor daily tasks and calls.
- Ensure a smooth and efficient lead generation process
- Uncover and attract leads using a range of strategies, including internet searches, professional referrals, and seminar research
- Coordinate with the team to develop impressive business proposals and presentations that accentuate the company’s value propositions
· Sales and Upselling:
- Upsell additional services or products to clients during the sales process.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of the company's offerings to effectively communicate value to clients.
- Assess competitor behaviour, market conditions, and customer requirements to identify gaps and propose strategic initiatives
- Reach the set targets
· Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to foster long-term partnerships.
- Ensure end-to-end service coverage, from initial contact to sales conversion
· Operational Activities:
o Handover converted sales to the operations team for order processing and delivery.
Ensure all specifications and details are negotiated and timely communicated to the operations team
· Reporting and Documentation:
o Maintain accurate records of all lead generation activities, calls, meetings, and sales conversions.
o Provide regular reports on performance and progress to the management team

Qualifications and Experience:
- 3+ years of proven track record in Business Development, Sales, Marketing, or relevant roles
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field required; a Master’s degree is desirable
