As we enter an exciting phase of growth, we're looking for a dedicated Operations & Inventory Coordinator to help streamline operations and support our scaling efforts. This full-time hybrid role offers felxibility while ensuring smooth operational processes.
About The Role
As the Operations & Inventory Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that inventory management, order fulfillment, and supplier coordination run seamlessly. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys taking ownership, solving problems, and contributing to the growth of our brand. The role is hybrid, with 1-2 days per week on-site at our Homagama Workshop and the remainder remote.
The role will evolve as the business scales, with the opportunity to take on new responsibilities and grow with the company.
This is a contract-based position for an initial period of 6 months, with the possibility of transitioning to a permanent position based on performance and business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Invetory & Stock Management:
- Track and monitor stock levels of raw materials and finished products.
- Ensure all products meet Apothecary & Co. quality standards through quality control.
- Supplier & Workshop Coordination:
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely stock replenishment.
- Oversee the organisation and efficiency of the workshop to ensure seamless fulfillment.
- Order Fulfillment & Retailer Coordination:
- Accurately pack and dispatch customer orders.
- Manage relationships with retail partners, ensuring timely stock replenishment and maintain effective communication.
- Administrative & Growth Support:
- Maintain and update records for expenses, inventory and production costs.
- Collaborate with the team to optimise operational processes and support growth initiatives.
- Events & Travels (Occasional):
- Assist with the planning and execution of pop-up events across Sri Lanka.
- Travel as needed for events and retail activations.
