Role Overview:
The Finance Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the financial health and operational efficiency of the subsidiary by leading the day-to-day management of cash flow and liquidity. This includes overseeing daily cash balances, executing timely foreign exchange purchases, and managing weekly, monthly, and annual cash flow plans to ensure accuracy and alignment with financial forecasts. The position also includes reporting on monthly cash plan accuracy, gains and losses, and contributing to the subsidiary’s cash plan forecast and Net Monetary Asset (NMA) forecasting, ensuring financial resilience and strategic alignment across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead day to day management of subsidiary cash flow liquidity, including daily cash balance management and monitoring (timely foreign exchange purchases), weekly cash plan application management (cash outflows), monthly cash plan application management (inflows and outflows) and annual cash flow rolling forecast management.
- Lead external compliance management for funds, including but not limited for intercompany fund payment and collection (including documentation support).
- Manage intercompany transaction settlement and prepare documentation according to intercompany transactions rules and external audit requirements.
- Support the subsidiary’s FX loss and financial hedging management to reduce FX losses.
- Support the subsidiary in responding to cash flow needs under extreme scenario’s.
- Monthly cash plan accuracy, gain and loss reporting.
- Subsidiary cash plan forecast and forecast NMA.
Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree or above in finance analyst, finance management, accounting, statistic, economic or related major.
- Expertise in fund management, subsidiary entity management, subsidiary financial report management, and subsidiary compliance managements.
- Expertise in funds, FOREX, ROS, NMA knowledges and Accounting basic.
- Expertise in Microsoft Excel proficiency / ERP or accounting system.
- Strong data analytics and processing capabilities.
- Proficient in English as a working language.
- Preferred Mandarin speaker in listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
- Professional knowledge in General Ledger, Funds Management or Cash Plan Forecast.
- Understand basic financial knowledge such as budgeting and forecasting, operation analysis, and cost management.
