Position Overview

We're seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Back-End Developer Intern to join our development team. This internship provides a hands-on opportunity to work with modern server-side technologies while gaining valuable industry experience. You'll collaborate with experienced developers to build robust, scalable, and efficient back-end systems that power our web, mobile, and VR applications.

What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain server-side logic using Node.js, Express, and Laravel
• Design and implement RESTful APIs that connect front-end interfaces with back-end services
• Work with both SQL and NoSQL database systems to create efficient data storage solutions
• Learn and apply database design best practices
• Use Postman for API testing and documentation
• Gain experience with AWS cloud services for deployment and hosting
• Implement authentication, authorization, and security measures
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
• Debug and troubleshoot server-side issues
• Work with Git for version control and collaborative development
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
• Gain experience with CMS systems and their integration

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• Basic understanding of programming fundamentals
• Familiarity with or eagerness to learn:
  • Server-side languages and frameworks: Node.js, Express.js, Laravel, Java
  • Database systems: SQL and NoSQL database experience
  • API development and tools like Postman
  • Cloud services: AWS
  • Version control: Git
  • Content Management Systems (CMS)
• Logical thinking and problem-solving mindset
• Understanding of basic security principles
• Attention to detail and commitment to writing clean code
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
