The Role

Organize music information for royalty payments using the relevant metadata processing system, SuperQ system while conducting research and data reviews.

Responsibilities

  • Enter and record music metadata from electronic source materials into the relevant metadata processing system, SuperQ system which is mainly used to report music royalties related information.
  • Conduct rigorous research in the SuperQ system as well as on the web and movie databases for required information
  • Perform self audits and the audits for the other team members as per the instructions of the Team Superior/s
  • Participate in quality assurance processes to identify and rectify data-related issues
  • Verify processed data to ensure accuracy above the company standards
  • Update and maintain all the reports allocated by the Team Superior/s accurately and in a timely manner
  • Support the management and other team members collectively to achieve weekly or monthly deadlines
  • Maintain an effective communication with team superiors and other team members
  • Complete miscellaneous priority tasks associated with various metadata
  • Provide support on additional company projects whenever required

Requirements

  • GCE A/Ls or GCE O/L with a certificate / Diploma level qualification
  • Good command in MS office & computer fundamentals
  • Sound knowledge and experience in working on Google Sheets
  • Good communication skills in English language (Verbal / Written)
  • Good proof-reading knowledge
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Positive attitude and a pleasant personality
  • Prior experience in content handling would be an added advantage
  • Ability to work for the USA calendar
  • Working hours : 6.30 pm - 2.30 am
  • Candidate must be based in Sri Lanka
