Role Overview
We are seeking a results-driven and strategic National Sales Manager to lead our sales operations across Indonesia. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with a strong background in FMCG, particularly in food or moms & baby categories. The ideal candidate will possess proven expertise in managing key accounts, distributor networks, and modern trade channels, as well as demonstrated success in driving revenue growth and optimizing sales operations nationwide.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead national sales strategies across general trade, modern trade, and national key accounts, ensuring consistent brand presence and revenue growth.
Negotiate and secure product listings, visibility programs, and trade terms with major retail chains and distributors.
Develop and expand distribution networks to improve product reach and availability across Indonesia.
Prepare, manage, and control sales budgets, ensuring efficiency and ROI across all trade activities.
Monitor, evaluate, and report on sales performance by channel, account, and region; implement data-driven solutions to achieve targets.
Lead and develop a high-performing sales team, including supervisors, through coaching, performance monitoring, and team alignment with company goals.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, PPIC, finance) to ensure seamless execution of trade promotions, accurate forecasting, and operational excellence.
Maintain strong relationships with retailers, distributors, stockists, and internal stakeholders to support long-term business growth.
Ensure compliance with trade agreements and oversee AR management in line with company policy.
Provide market intelligence and competitor analysis to support agile business decision-making.
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years’ experience as a National Sales Manager in an FMCG environment, preferably in food or moms & baby categories.
At least 3 years of experience managing supervisory-level teams.
Strong analytical acumen in sales reporting, cost analysis, and trade term management.
Proven ability in key account management and distributor relationship-building within Indonesia’s retail landscape.
Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
High mobility and readiness to travel extensively across the country.
