We’re looking for a talented and creative Video Editor to join our team and bring founder-driven content to life. You'll be responsible for editing both short-form content (Reels, TikToks, Shorts) and long-form videos (YouTube, podcast clips) that feel native to each platform while reflecting each founder’s unique voice and tone.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit 7–15 short-form videos per week (under 90 seconds each) that are high-retention, fast-paced, and on-trend.
- Edit 1–3 long-form videos per week (3–20 minutes) optimized for storytelling, SEO, and watch time.
- Add dynamic subtitles, sound design, music, jump cuts, memes, and zooms to enhance engagement.
- Collaborate with creative strategists and content managers on style guides, brand voice, and visual identity.
- Repurpose long-form videos into multiple short-form assets.
- Keep up with trends on YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, and TikTok.
Requirements
- Proven experience editing native content for social platforms (portfolio required).
- Mastery of Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or Davinci Resolve.
- Strong sense of pacing, storytelling, and attention retention.
- Understanding of what performs well on YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
- Ability to match editing styles across different brands and voices.
- Organized, deadline-driven, and able to handle feedback well.
- Bonus: Motion graphics, animation, or color grading experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with personal brands or agencies focused on founder content.
- Familiarity with Notion, Frame.io, or similar workflow tools.
- Understanding of creator economy, startups, and entrepreneurship.
