Our client is the official B2B advertising arm of one of the considerable smartphone brands in Indonesia, one of the leading smartphone manufacturers in Southeast Asia.
Job Role:
The client is seeking a driven and tech-savvy Sales Officer to help accelerate business development in the Israeli market. This role involves identifying new customer segments, managing sales pipelines, and supporting cross-functional sales initiatives. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, data-informed, and passionate about engaging clients through innovative and consultative selling approaches.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive Direct Sales Activities
- Proactively conduct direct selling to brands and advertisers by identifying potential clients, initiating outreach, delivering compelling sales pitches, and managing one-on-one negotiations to close deals.
- Focus on building a strong individual sales pipeline and consistently converting leads into active clients without relying solely on agency intermediaries.
- End-to-End Client Acquisition & Retention
- Own the full sales cycle—from cold outreach and product demo to proposal submission, deal closure, and account nurturing.
- Ensure strong post-sale engagement by coordinating with internal teams to monitor campaign delivery and maintain client satisfaction.
- Present OEM-Based Ad Solutions with Confidence
- Educate clients on the value of OEM-based advertising by clearly explaining the benefits of native OPPO ad placements (e.g., splash ads, lockscreen ads, App Market, pre-installs) as strategic alternatives to traditional in-app or social ads.
- Achieve and Exceed Sales Targets
- Work toward ambitious monthly and quarterly revenue goals by actively pitching the solutions to both local and regional clients in core sectors: e-commerce, fintech, gaming, telco, FMCG, and more.
- Manage Key Accounts with Consultative Selling
- Build trusted, long-term relationships with key advertisers through solution-oriented selling, deep understanding of their business challenges, and continuous optimization of ad strategies based on data and insights.
- Local Market Prospecting & Competitive Mapping
- Conduct regular prospecting in your assigned country, mapping out local brand ecosystems, identifying market gaps, and tracking competitor offerings to sharpen your pitch and positioning.
- Coordinate Campaign Execution & Support
- Liaise with Ad Operations, Creative, and Product teams to ensure timely launch and smooth delivery of ad campaigns. Provide ongoing client support and troubleshooting throughout the campaign lifecycle.
- Leverage First-Party Ecosystem Insights
- Use first-party behavioral data from the ecosystem to craft personalized proposals and data-backed recommendations that increase campaign ROI and client retention.
- Promote Ads Brand and Product Awareness
- Represent Ads in local marketing events, client meetings, and industry forums. Advocate for the power of device-level marketing and help reshape how advertisers think about reaching mobile users.
Candidate Requirements:
- Degree: At least a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or other relevant fields.
- Years of Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of experience in B2B sales, business development, or digital advertising, in mobile, tech, or media sectors.
- Industry: Experience in or exposure to the digital advertising, mobile marketing, tech, media, or telecommunications industries is preferred. Familiarity with OEM-based advertising or mobile device ecosystems is a strong plus.
- Language:
- Fluent in English (professional/business level).
- Proficiency in the local language is required.
- Technical Expertise:
- Direct Sales Exposure: Proven experience in direct client selling—from prospecting to closing—ideally in a performance-based or consultative selling environment.
- Digital Marketing Knowledge: Solid understanding of digital ad products, mobile advertising trends, and online media buying. Knowledge of programmatic advertising is a plus.
- Client Management: Demonstrated ability to build and manage client relationships, handle objections, and deliver tailored proposals with a focus on campaign goals (CPI, CPM, CPD, ROI, etc.).
- Technical Aptitude: Comfortable discussing ad formats, delivery mechanisms (SDK, pre-install, lockscreen, etc.), and using tools like CRM systems, spreadsheets, and campaign dashboards.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Highly self-motivated, target-driven, and detail-oriented.
- Able to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
- Mobility & Availability:
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
- Availability to travel domestically or regionally for client meetings or events as required.
