As the Finance & Treasury Department Head, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing all financial operations, treasury activities, and funding strategies of the company. This includes ensuring financial stability, maintaining adequate liquidity, and securing competitive credit facilities. You will lead the Finance & Treasury team, drive continuous improvement in financial processes, and ensure compliance with regulatory and internal policies. The role is also strategic in nature, supporting the company’s long-term growth and preparing to assume higher responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute financial and treasury strategies in line with the company’s objectives.
- Manage daily cash flow, ensuring optimal liquidity and utilization of funds.
- Source and negotiate competitive funding options with banks, creditors, and financial institutions.
- Maintain strong relationships with lenders and stakeholders.
- Oversee customer receipts and ensure timely payments to suppliers, dealers, and vendors.
- Prepare and analyze financial forecasts, reports, and performance dashboards for management.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and internal controls.
- Provide leadership and mentoring to the finance and treasury team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments to support business planning and investment initiatives.
- Lead financial due diligence for projects, new partnerships, or funding opportunities.
- Prepare for succession planning and readiness to assume a more senior leadership role within 2–3 years.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in finance with 5+ years in a treasury leadership role.
- Strong experience in fundraising, liquidity management and credit facility negotiation.
- Proven track record in financial analysis, risk management, and compliance.
- Experience in multifinance leasing or automotive financing industries is highly preferred.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities.
- Fluent in English.
