Job Overview

We are looking for a Junior Backend Developer to join our fast-growing team. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of backend technologies and the desire to build scalable, secure, and high-performance applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and maintaining server-side applications
• Write clean, well-structured, and efficient code
• Integrate front-end components with server-side logic
• Develop RESTful APIs and web services
• Collaborate with front-end developers, designers, and project managers
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve backend issues
• Support database design, development, and optimization
• Participate in team code reviews
• Keep up with industry trends and emerging backend technologies

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
• 1 to 2 years of experience in backend development
• Knowledge of backend programming languages such as Node.js, PHP, Python, or Java
• Familiarity with frameworks like PHP and Laravel
• Understanding of REST APIs and JSON
• Basic knowledge of relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server) and/or NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Firebase)
• Familiarity with Git version control
• Understanding of basic security principles in backend development
• Eagerness to learn, proactive attitude, and strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
• Knowledge of cloud services (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure)
