Job Role:

The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and performance of all ceramic production machinery and equipment at the Banten factory. This role requires a highly technical professional with extensive experience in plant maintenance within a manufacturing environment, particularly in ceramic or tile production.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Mechanical Engineering, Preventive Maintenance, and troubleshooting complex industrial machinery. They will also play a key role in optimizing machine performance, reducing downtime, and implementing best practices in maintenance management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Machinery & Equipment Maintenance
  • Oversee the technical maintenance and repair of ceramic production machinery.
  • Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maximize machine uptime.
  • Ensure efficient troubleshooting and root cause analysis of mechanical failures to minimize production disruptions.
  • Manage and optimize spare parts inventory to ensure critical components are readily available.
• Maintenance Planning & Process Optimization
  • Develop maintenance schedules and SOPs to improve machine reliability.
  • Implement lean maintenance strategies to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Work closely with production teams to align maintenance activities with production schedules.
  • Identify and execute continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment performance and energy efficiency.
• Team Leadership & Development
  • Lead and supervise a team of maintenance technicians and engineers.
  • Provide technical training and development programs to enhance team competencies.
  • Foster a culture of proactive maintenance, safety, and accountability within the team.
• Compliance & Safety Management
  • Ensure all maintenance activities comply with industry regulations, company policies, and safety standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections and risk assessments to prevent workplace hazards.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports for audits and compliance checks.

Candidate Requirements:

• Degree: At least Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Years of Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in plant maintenance management within a manufacturing environment (preferably in ceramic or tile production), and has been on managerial level, leading, directing, and mentoring a team.
• Language: English (able to read, write, and speak).
• Industry: Manufacturing of similar products.
• Technical Expertise: Proven experience in managing machinery and equipment used in the manufacturing factory from engineering perspective, and ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and performance of all ceramic production machinery and equipment.
• Technical Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of industrial machinery, mechanical systems, and preventive maintenance strategies.
  • Experience in troubleshooting and repairing ceramic production equipment.
  • Proven ability to develop maintenance strategies that optimize production efficiency.
• Professional Skills:
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to train and mentor maintenance staff.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to diagnose technical issues and implement effective solutions.
