Job Role** The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end supply chain operations to ensure efficient planning, material flow, inventory management, and logistics performance across domestic and international markets, which includes warehousing, production scheduling, inventory/material control, inbound and outbound logistics, transportation, and shipping/receiving, to align operational execution with customer requirements, service levels, and business targets—while maintaining compliance with financial, safety, and regulatory standards.

In addition to operational leadership, the Supply Chain Manager plays a key strategic role in driving process improvement, cost efficiency, and cross-functional collaboration. The position leads and develops a diverse team, manages performance and capacity planning, and ensures effective use of enterprise tools such as Lean Six Sigma. The role is also expected to support long-term supply chain transformation initiatives and contribute to the development of business-aligned goals, strategies, and metrics. Success in this position requires strong leadership, data-driven decision-making, and the ability to balance tactical execution with strategic vision within a fast-paced manufacturing and global supply environment.**

Key Responsibilities**

  • Warehouse & Inventory Management
    • Ensure efficient storage, distribution, and space utilization of raw materials and finished goods.
    • Monitor stock levels, identify slow-moving/surplus items, and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
    • Oversee inventory control to support production and sales forecasts.
  • Planning & Scheduling
    • Develop raw material and production schedules aligned with customer orders and capacity.
    • Coordinate with suppliers, purchasing, and production to ensure timely availability of materials.
    • Adjust production timelines based on priorities, material availability, and operational constraints.
  • Logistics & Transportation
    • Manage inbound and outbound logistics, ensuring timely and cost-effective movement of goods.
    • Optimize transportation routes and carrier performance; negotiate rates as needed.
    • Monitor and improve logistics processes to meet service, cost, and compliance goals.
  • Shipping & Receiving
    • Oversee incoming and outgoing shipments, which includes verifying quantity, weight, and conformance of materials; prepares records of materials shipped and bills of lading; routes materials to destinations.
    • Performs a combination of manual and clerical shipping and/or receiving duties which may require the use of hand trucks, forklifts, and other devices, as well as computers to maintain data, including bills of lading and shipping manifests.
  • Operations & Continuous Improvement
    • Lead supply chain projects and drive operational efficiency through Lean and ELS practices.
    • Monitor performance metrics and execute initiatives to reduce cost and improve service.
    • Evaluate and improve space, equipment use, and operating procedures.
  • Strategic Planning
    • Develop and execute long-term supply chain strategies aligned with business goals, including identifying market trends and operational opportunities for competitive advantage.
    • Lead benchmarking and implement best practices across supply chain functions.
  • Team Leadership & Development
    • Lead and develop a high-performing supply chain team.
    • Set goals, provide feedback, and support career growth through training and mentoring.
    • Foster collaboration across functions and act as a change leader.

Candidate Requirements

  • Degree: at least Bachelor’s Degree in related majors.
  • Years of Experience: at least 5+ years in Supply Chain, Materials, and Logistics, with additional 3+ years of leading or management experience.
  • Industry: packaging, labeling, printing, adhesives, or machinery.
  • Language: English (conversational).
  • Technical Expertise: Proven track record of leading projects in Supply Chain and Logistics.
  • Technical Expertise:
    • Knowledge of modern manufacturing, material flow and improvement strategies (e.g. ELS, continuous flow, cellular etc.) and the ability to integrate those into the operation.
    • Demonstrated understanding of financial systems and the key drivers within the manufacturing environment.
  • Professional Attributes:
    • Strong organizational skills in strategy, communication at all levels and execution.
    • Strong leadership skills, and the ability to lead, contribute, and influence others in a team-based organization.
    • Excellent organizational and people skills, project management skills, with an ability to openly convey information to team members.
