What You’ll Do:

  • HR Partnership & Support:
    • Act as a first point of contact for employee HR inquiries, providing accurate information and escalating complex issues when necessary.
    • Assist in understanding business unit needs and supporting HR initiatives that align with their goals.
    • Contribute to fostering positive working relationships between employees and management.
  • Talent Acquisition & Onboarding Support:
    • Coordinate recruitment activities, including scheduling interviews, managing candidate communication, and maintaining applicant tracking systems.
    • Support the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience.
    • Assist in drafting job descriptions and posting vacancies.
  • Learning & Development Coordination:
    • Help coordinate logistics for training programs and workshops.
    • Assist in tracking employee participation in development initiatives.
    • Support the implementation of employee development resources.
  • Employee Engagement & Relations Assistance:
    • Assist in organizing employee engagement activities and events.
    • Provide support in addressing routine employee inquiries and low-level conflict resolution.
    • Help administer employee surveys and gather feedback.
  • HR Operations & Compliance Assistance:
    • Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
    • Assist with HR administrative tasks throughout the employee lifecycle (e.g., benefits administration support, leave management).
    • Help ensure compliance with local labor laws and internal HR policies by supporting policy implementation and review.
    • Contribute to preparing HR reports and basic data analysis.
  • General HR Administration & Support:
    • Manage and organize HR files, both physical and digital, ensuring confidentiality and easy retrieval.
    • Assist with general office administration tasks as needed, including managing HR department supplies.
    • Provide support for internal and external guest relations related to HR functions, ensuring a professional and welcoming experience.
    • Handle miscellaneous administrative tasks to support the overall HR department efficiency.

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Professional HR certifications (CIPM) are an advantage.
  • 2-3 years of hands-on experience in a Human Resources role, with exposure to recruitment, training, employee relations, and general HR administration.
  • Understanding of Sri Lankan labor law and regulations.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven ability to handle employee issues with discretion and professionalism
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
