We’re on the hunt for an exceptional Shopify Developer with a proven track record of building high-performing, scalable, and beautifully crafted Shopify storefronts and apps. This is a remote-first opportunity based in Sri Lanka, working directly with a leading client that’s scaling their Shopify-based commerce operations. We’re looking for someone who’s not just technically brilliant, but also autonomous, driven, and committed to excellence.

Your Core Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and scale custom Shopify and Shopify Plus storefronts
• Create and maintain private Shopify apps, including AI-enhanced features
• Leverage Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript for custom theme development
• Integrate with third-party APIs, payment gateways, CRMs, and analytics platforms
• Optimize performance and ensure full responsiveness across devices
• Implement AI-based solutions within Shopify workflows or apps (e.g., chatbots, custom tools)
• Work closely with stakeholders, occasionally interfacing with clients
• Manage codebase using Git version control in collaborative environments

Ideal Candidate Profile

You’re not defined by years of experience — your work speaks for itself. You’ve:

• Built, launched, and maintained live Shopify stores and apps
• Worked on high-traffic or high-visibility eCommerce platforms
• Delivered custom solutions for known brands (bonus if you've worked with: Carnage Sri Lanka, Kelly Felder, Ustore, or Felio.AI)
• Proven your ability through freelance or personal Shopify projects with tangible outcomes
• Hands-on experience integrating AI tools or features within Shopify
• Worked with both REST and GraphQL APIs
