About the Company Our client is a newly established company based in Jakarta Barat. While still in its early stages, itis entering two specialized markets:

  • Precision valve distribution, particularly for paintball equipment (e.g., air regulators, fill valves, solenoid and manual valves tailored for paintball tanks and guns), and
  • Natural rubber and rubber chemicals, targeting industrial clients in the manufacturing, sealing, and processing sectors.
  • It is currently operating in a lean setup with ambitious plans to expand its product portfolio and distribution footprint across Indonesia. By serving both recreational and industrial B2B markets, it positions itself as a provider of high-performance components and essential raw materials.

Job Role

The client is looking for a Sales Officer to realize the company's goal to enter broader market entry. This includes forming key partnerships, establishing its first client base, and developing its internal operations. The ideal candidate must have familiarity with the market, including the market and competitors, to be able to reach out to a wider range of customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct Market Research and Client Mapping - Continuously monitor market trends, competitor movements, and customer feedback to refine targeting strategies and identify growth areas. Support the expansion of RAM’s market footprint by mapping potential accounts and new market segments.
  • Develop and Maintain Client Accounts - Build strong, long-term relationships with enterprise clients by understanding their operational needs, providing tailored valve solutions, and ensuring reliable after-sales support. Serve as the primary point of contact to maintain client satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Drive Direct Sales Activities - Identify and pursue new B2B sales opportunities across Indonesia, targeting key customers such as paintball operators, sports equipment distributors, and tactical gear retailers. Actively engage in prospecting, cold-calling, and client visits to introduce RAM’s product offerings and generate demand in the market.
  • Manage the Full Sales Cycle - Handle the end-to-end sales process from lead generation and client presentations to quotations, negotiations, and closing deals. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and client-specific customizations, if any.
  • Ensure Sales Reporting and Pipeline Management - Maintain accurate sales records, and report progress to management regularly. Provide sales forecasts, performance metrics, and insights for strategic decision-making.

Candidate Requirements

  • Education: At least Bachelor’s Degree in relevant fields.
  • Years of Experience: At least 2 years of experience in sales, covering Direct Selling and Account Management, within the B2B Sales environment.
  • Technical Expertise: Proven experience selling products with mechanical, industrial, or functional components.
  • Industry Expertise: Prior experience selling valves or components for paintball guns, air tanks, or related compressed-gas equipment is highly preferred.
  • Professional Attributes:
    • Demonstrates strong sales drive and ambition — confident in approaching new clients, closing deals, and working toward targets
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and manage client relationships effectively
    • Proactive, self-motivated, and adaptable to a startup-style work environment with limited structure or resources
  • Mobility: Comfortable with direct selling, prospecting, and client visits across Jakarta and potentially other regions, using personal vehicles.
  • Language: Professional English.
