Job Role**
The client is seeking a customer-focused** **Key Account Executive who reports to Sales Manager, to drive the growth and management of a key account, which is one of the notable global apparel brands.
This role is responsible for driving profitable sales performance, executing global and regional initiatives, and managing relationships with the account, including initiating and running upsell and cross-sell projects for other solutions and products.
Key Responsibilities
- Account Development & Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at the account, acting as the main point of contact to ensure consistent engagement, satisfaction, and long-term loyalty.
- Sales Growth & Target Achievement: Develop and execute account-specific strategies to meet or exceed sales, revenue, and profitability goals across the Indonesian market.
- Forecast Management & Supply Coordination: Monitor and align customer forecasts with internal operations and supply chain teams to ensure product availability and timely delivery.
- Cross-sell & Upsell Opportunities: Identify and initiate cross-sell and upsell opportunities, promoting the broader portfolio of Avery Dennison’s products and solutions (e.g. labeling, RFID, embellishments).
- Business Reviews & Reporting: Conduct regular business reviews with internal and external stakeholders; track performance metrics, address challenges, and share key insights for improvement.
- Regional & Global Sales Alignment: Support the Sales Manager in executing regional sales initiatives and “attack plans”, ensuring alignment with broader global strategies and commercial objectives.
- Market & Competitor Intelligence: Gather and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer behavior to proactively recommend actions that drive account growth and maintain competitive advantage.
Candidate Requirements
- Degree: at least Bachelor’s Degree in related majors.
- Years of Experience: At least 3 years of hands-on sales experience, with Key Account Management specialty.
- Industry: similar industry within multinational or global companies, managing a global fashion brand.
- Language: English (professional and business level, able to communicate in written and spoken with the global teams and accounts, without hesitation or being misunderstood).
- Technical Expertise: Proven experience in managing complex transactions and sales cycles in customer’s supply chains.
- Technical Skills:
- Account planning and execution
- Negotiation and stakeholder engagement
- Tools: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, for reporting and analytical purposes, and business tools (e.g., Lotus Notes, CRM).
- Professional Skills: Ability to build and nurture customer relationships and lead complex negotiations., with strong people management skills, including mentoring, training, and developing high-potential talent.
- Personal Qualities: Strong communication and presentation abilities, and has analytical mindset and customer service orientation.
- Mobility: Willing and able to travel frequently across the region.
