Job Title: Associate Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer

Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Associate QA Engineer to join our team at Save Energy Systems. As an entry-level QA engineer, you will assist in verifying product quality, identifying issues, and working closely with developers and senior QA engineers to ensure that our energy management platform performs flawlessly across web interfaces, APIs, and hardware integrations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in writing and executing test cases for web and mobile applications.
• Perform functional, UI, regression, and smoke testing.
• Raise, document, and track bugs using JIRA (or relevant tools).
• Verify data accuracy in dashboards, reports, and IoT-based modules
• Support senior QAs in maintaining test documentation and knowledge base.
• Perform basic database validation using SQL queries.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in software QA (manual or automation).
• Basic understanding of QA methodologies, test case design, and software development life cycle (SDLC).
• Familiarity with bug tracking tools like JIRA.
• Knowledge of SQL and experience with basic database querying.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced Agile environment.
