Position: NDT Technician Location: Papua New Guinea Roster: 6 Weeks On / 2 Weeks Off Employment Type: 1 year contract with possible renewal.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated NDT Technician with valid PCN or SNT certification to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) inspections in compliance with industry standards, company procedures, and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform NDT inspections using qualified methods (UT, MT, PT, RT, or ET as applicable).
• Interpret and evaluate test results in accordance with applicable codes, standards, and specifications.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain proper documentation of inspection results.
• Ensure compliance with company safety policies and quality procedures.
• Collaborate with the inspection team to meet project schedules and deliverables.
• Participate in toolbox meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Valid PCN Level II or ASNT/SNT Level II certification in at least one or more NDT methods (UT, MT, PT, RT, or ET).
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the Oil & Gas, Mining, or Construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of applicable codes and standards (e.g. ASME, API, ISO).
• Ability to work in challenging and remote project environments.
• Excellent reporting and communication skills.
• Commitment to health, safety, and quality standards.
