SEO Specialist

AmpFlare Digital is seeking an experienced and performance-driven Senior SEO Specialist on a contract/project basis to lead impactful SEO strategies and collaborate closely with our content and development teams. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a results-oriented environment and is looking to potentially transition into a long-term full-time position based on performance.

Key Responsibilities

SEO Strategy & Execution (Primary Focus):

  • Lead and execute advanced SEO strategies across client websites and projects.
  • Conduct comprehensive keyword research, SEO audits, and competitor analysis.
  • Work closely with the web developer to improve site architecture, page speed, mobile responsiveness, and resolve technical SEO issues.
  • Collaborate with the content writer to ensure all content is optimized for search intent, structure, and keywords.
  • Monitor rankings, traffic, and technical performance using GA4, Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, etc.
  • Develop reports and present insights on SEO performance and growth opportunities.

Digital Marketing Support (Secondary Focus):

  • Contribute to paid media strategy (Google Ads, Meta Ads) where relevant.
  • Support content marketing, CRO, and user engagement optimization.
  • Keep up with search algorithm changes and proactively adjust strategies.

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years of proven experience in hands-on SEO (agency or freelance).
  • Strong understanding of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO.
  • Experienced in using tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, GA4, and Tag Manager.
  • Able to translate SEO data into actionable insights and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Skilled in communicating SEO strategies to clients or stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working independently on a contract/project basis.

Bonus Skills

  • Familiarity with platforms like WordPress, Shopify, Webflow.
  • Experience running Google Ads or assisting with performance marketing.
  • Strong reporting and presentation skills.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML and schema markup.
