Job Profile
We are seeking a visionary and results-oriented professional to join our organization as the Digital Marketing & Web Manager. This key leadership role will be responsible for driving client engagement strategies, developing segmentation models, enhancing customer experiences, and overseeing our digital marketing efforts.
The successful candidate will play a critical role in strengthening client relationships, optimizing marketing efforts, maximizing customer satisfaction and loyalty, and driving new client acquisition.
Responsibilities
Client Engagement Strategy
- Develop and implement comprehensive client engagement strategies to enhance customer experiences, increase retention rates, and drive revenue growth.
- Define and execute targeted engagement programs across various channels, including digital, social media, events, and personalized communications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align client engagement strategies with business goals and objectives.
Lead Generation
- Develop and implement strategies to drive new leads through platforms like bark.com, EasyAds, Google Ads, and other lead generation tools.
- Optimize lead generation campaigns to maximize ROI and ensure a steady flow of quality leads.
Digital Presence Overhaul
- Oversee the redesign and optimisation of the company’s website to enhance user experience and attract new clients.
- Manage and grow the company's social media presence across relevant platforms.
- Ensure all digital content aligns with the brand's voice and strategic goals.
- Utilise SEO and content marketing strategies to improve organic search rankings and drive website traffic.
- Develop and manage a content marketing strategy, including blog posts, videos, and other multimedia content.
Segmentation and Targeting
- Lead the development and refinement of customer segmentation models based on demographic, behavioural, and psychographic data.
- Conduct market research and data analysis to identify customer segments, understand their needs, and create tailored messaging and offers.
- Work closely with marketing teams to develop targeted campaigns and initiatives that resonate with specific customer segments.
Customer Journey Mapping
- Map and analyse the end-to-end customer journey to identify key touchpoints and opportunities for engagement and improvement.
- Develop customer journey maps, personas, and customer experience frameworks to guide marketing and engagement strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency and continuity across all customer touchpoints.
Client Relationship Management
- Identify opportunities to upsell, cross-sell, and expand client accounts through data analysis that will lead to proactive engagement and relationship-building initiatives.
- Collaborate with sales teams to develop account plans and strategies to maximize client satisfaction and revenue growth.
Email and Communications Management
- Create and maintain an email/communications calendar to ensure regular and timely communication with clients.
- Send monthly investment performance updates to keep clients informed and engaged.
- Develop and manage client segmentation strategies and associated email journeys to deliver personalized and targeted communications.
Data Analysis and Insights
- Utilize data analytics tools and techniques to extract insights, identify trends, and measure the effectiveness of client engagement initiatives.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to client engagement, segmentation, and customer satisfaction, and provide regular reports to senior leadership.
- Use data-driven insights to optimize engagement strategies, personalize customer experiences, and drive continuous improvement.
- Analyse the database for cross-sell and up-sell opportunities, leveraging data to enhance client value and increase revenue.
Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of digital marketing and client engagement professionals.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.
- Ensure continuous professional development opportunities for the team to stay updated with the latest marketing trends and technologies.
Strategic Planning and Budget Management
- Develop and manage the annual digital marketing and engagement budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
- Collaborate with the executive team to align digital marketing and engagement strategies with overall business goals and objectives.
- Identify and evaluate new digital marketing opportunities and technologies to maintain a competitive edge.
Compliance and Best Practices
- Ensure all digital marketing and client engagement activities comply with relevant regulations and best practices.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, emerging trends, and best practices in digital marketing and client engagement.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field.
- Advanced certifications in marketing or customer relationship management are a plus.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in a similar role, with a strong track record of developing and implementing successful digital marketing, client engagement, and segmentation strategies.
- Proven experience in spearheading lead generation campaigns. Having experience with lead generation campaigns outside of Sri Lanka would be an added advantage.
- In-depth knowledge of customer segmentation methodologies, data analysis techniques, and customer relationship management (CRM) systems – in particular Salesforce and Zoho would be an advantage.
- Experience in utilizing marketing automation tools, customer analytics platforms, and digital marketing channels to drive client engagement.
- Strong understanding of customer journey mapping, customer experience design, and customer-centric marketing principles.
