Regional Manager (Retail and Food Services)
As Regional Manager – CIS Countries (Retail & Food Services), you will be responsible for leading and expanding Dilmah’s presence in the CIS markets. You’ll drive strategic growth across both retail channels (e.g., grocery chains, in-store boutiques) and foodservice channels (e.g., hospitality, restaurants, cafes).
Your Responsibilities:
- Implement a comprehensive sales and marketing strategy for both Retail and Food Service channels across the CIS region.
- Nurture partnerships with distributors, retail chains, foodservice operators, and local stakeholders.
- Monitor and analyse market trends, consumer behaviour, competitor activity, and pricing strategies to identify opportunities.
- Oversee negotiation of contracts, pricing agreements, and joint marketing initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, quality, and brand standards across markets.
- Work closely with cross functions—logistics, QA, production etc.—to ensure seamless execution.
- Report on sales performance, forecasting, and strategic priorities to senior leadership.
Candidate Profile
We’re looking for someone who brings:
- Proven experience (6+ years) in international sales or business development in Retail and/or Food Service channels, ideally across Eastern Europe/CIS.
- Demonstrated track record driving growth—achieving sales targets and expanding market presence.
- Strong understanding of CIS market dynamics, trade policies, and consumer behaviour.
- Exceptional negotiation, leadership, and team management capabilities.
- Strategic thinking with a data-informed approach.
- Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in Russian or other CIS region languages is a strong plus.
