Job Summary: We are looking for a dedicated and hardworking Commis III to join our kitchen team. The role involves supporting chefs with basic food preparation, maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen, and assisting with day-to-day operations to ensure smooth service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with preparation of ingredients (washing, chopping, peeling, portioning).
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen and storage areas.
- Support chefs in cooking and plating as directed.
- Ensure proper storage and labeling of food items.
- Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Carry out any other tasks assigned by senior kitchen staff.
Requirements:
- Previous kitchen experience is an advantage but not essential.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player with good communication skills.
