Graphic Designer

Outright Play
Full-time6 Kalinga Pl, Colombo 00500, Sri Lanka

Company Overview

Outright Play is a Sri Lankan music label and entertainment company with one mission: turn artists into extraordinary icons. Our vision is bold: take culture to the world.

We manage artists, produce music, create content, and build brands. Visual design is at the heart of how we present our artists to the world — from social media thumbnails to event posters, merch designs, and logos. Every piece of design we put out shapes how fans and partners see us.

Role Summary

We are seeking a versatile and creative Graphic Designer to lead the visual identity of our artists and brands. You will design across multiple formats: thumbnails, posters, merchandise artworks, logos, cover art, and event branding.

This role requires someone with speed, creativity, and attention to detail. You will work closely with video editors, social media managers, and the business development team to ensure every design communicates clearly, engages audiences, and strengthens our brand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design thumbnails for YouTube and social media content.
  • Create event posters, flyers, and promotional graphics.
  • Develop merchandise artwork (t-shirts, hoodies, accessories, streetwear).
  • Design logos and brand identities for artists, events, and projects.
  • Support content production with templates, layouts, and social graphics.
  • Deliver designs quickly and consistently to match content schedules.
  • Collaborate with the content, events, and business teams on creative concepts.
  • Maintain brand consistency while experimenting with fresh design ideas.
  • Prepare designs for both digital and print formats.

Required Skills & Qualities

  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and other design tools.
  • Strong portfolio covering thumbnails, posters, merchandise, and branding.
  • Ability to design fast while maintaining high quality.
  • Strong understanding of typography, color, and composition.
  • Familiarity with streetwear and youth culture design trends is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of print design and file preparation.
  • Reliable, disciplined, and comfortable working under tight deadlines.

Work Culture & Expectations

  • High-output environment: You will design daily across multiple projects.
  • No excuses. Deadlines and deliverables must be met, regardless of challenges.
  • Direct feedback. Expect quick, unfiltered feedback and the need to adapt fast.
  • Flexibility. Work hours may extend for urgent releases, events, or campaigns.
  • Small team, high visibility. Your work will directly shape how our artists and events are seen.

What We Offer

  • Opportunity to design for top artists, events, and merchandise brands.
  • Exposure across music, entertainment, and fashion.
  • A creative, dynamic environment where your work reaches thousands daily.
  • Competitive salary with performance-based growth.

If you are a creative, fast, and versatile designer who thrives in high-pressure, high-output environments, we want to see your work.
