What You'll Do
- Deploy, manage, and maintain applications on our Kubernetes infrastructure, ensuring amazing uptime and performance.
- Own and improve our GitOps-based deployment pipelines using ArgoCD and GitHub Actions to enable safe and efficient releases.
- Maintain and scale our cloud infrastructure, responding to incidents and proactively identifying areas for improvement.
- Champion and use our observability stack (Prometheus, Grafana) to monitor system health and performance.
- Manage error detection with Sentry, working with development teams to ensure issues are tracked and resolved effectively.
- Automate operational tasks and improve CI/CD processes to enhance developer productivity.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure new services are reliable, scalable, and easy to deploy.
What You'll Bring
Must-Haves:
- 2+ years of experience in a DevOps, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineering role.
- Hands-on experience operating and deploying applications to production systems in Kubernetes.
- Experience deploying applications using Helm charts.
- Experience with GitOps workflows and CI/CD tools, preferably with ArgoCD and GitHub Actions.
- Experience with a major cloud platform (e.g., OpenStack, AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Proficiency with monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana.
- A strong sense of ownership and a passion for automation.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Proficiency in a programming language such as Go or Python for building automation and tooling.
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform.
- Familiarity with automated testing frameworks and tools like Postman.
- Experience with infrastructure security tools and practices.
