About The Role:

As a Backend Cloud Developer, you will design, build, and scale backend systems for client platforms across a range of industries. You’ll focus on distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and secure, high-performance services that meet the needs of modern, large-scale applications. This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy solving complex problems and want to work with cutting-edge cloud-native technologies.

What You'll Do:

• Design and build scalable backend services and APIs to support multi-tenant applications.
• Architect, deploy, and optimize cloud infrastructure primarily on AWS.
• Implement and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform.
• Develop and maintain distributed systems and microservices running in Kubernetes.
• Ensure reliability, security, and performance across all backend systems.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines to enable fast, safe, and automated deployments.
• Write maintainable, testable, and performant code in collaboration with our world-class team.
• Participate in code reviews and perform extensive testing to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years professional experience.
• Strong experience with AWS (ECS, EKS, S3, RDS, IAM, etc.) and cloud-native services. Proficiency with infrastructure as code, ideally Terraform.
• Solid understanding of distributed systems, microservices, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with multi-tenant architecture and designing secure, scalable systems.
• Strong programming skills; Go experience preferred, but open to candidates with other backend languages and interest in Go.
• Strong understanding of database design and management, particularly with PostgreSQL and AWS Aurora.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
