UI/UX Designer
Purpose of the Role
The UI/UX Designer will be responsible for designing intuitive, engaging, and conversion-driven digital experiences across global Digital platforms including eCommerce shops of dilmah. This role will translate business requirements into user-centric designs that enhance customer journeys, improve usability, and maximize sales. The designer will work closely with product, marketing, and development teams to ensure consistent brand experience, accessibility, and performance across all digital touchpoints.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct user research, journey mapping, and usability testing to identify friction points and opportunities across digital touchpoints.
- Design and deliver wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI assets that align with brand guidelines, enhance storytelling, and create intuitive user experiences.
- Develop customer journeys and UX flows that guide users effectively through awareness, consideration, and conversion stages.
- Create conversion-driven UI/UX solutions to optimize checkout flows, product detail pages, and campaign landing pages, reducing drop-offs and maximizing sales conversion rates.
- Collaborate with product, marketing, and content teams to deliver cohesive cross-platform experiences (web, mobile, app, campaigns).
- Partner with developers to ensure seamless implementation of designs and maintain quality standards.
- Apply analytics (GA4, heatmaps, session recordings, NPS/CSAT) to continuously optimize design and customer journeys.
- Ensure accessibility, responsiveness, and mobile-first design principles are applied consistently.
- Stay updated with global UI/UX trends, design systems, and digital innovations to drive continuous improvement.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Proven UI/UX design experience with a portfolio showcasing awareness-to-conversion customer journeys.
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools (Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, InVision, etc.).
- Strong understanding of user research, wireframing, and usability testing.
- Experience with analytics-driven UX improvements and CRO (conversion rate optimization).
- Knowledge of responsive and accessible design standards (WCAG).
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to work with cross-functional teams.
