About the Role

We are looking for a skilled PHP Developer with a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in developing and maintaining dynamic web applications. The ideal candidate will be passionate about coding, problem-solving, and delivering high-quality solutions while working closely with our IT and development teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain web applications using PHP and related technologies.
• Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code.
• Collaborate with designers, front-end developers, and other stakeholders to deliver seamless solutions.
• Maintain and optimize relational databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL).
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and apply them where appropriate.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs for system integrations.
• Ensure web security best practices are applied across applications.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Minimum 3 years of proven experience as a PHP Developer.
• Strong knowledge of PHP frameworks (e.g., Laravel, CodeIgniter, Symfony).
• Solid understanding of front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery).
• Experience working with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git).
• Good problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team.
• Experience with cloud hosting environments like AWS, Azure, or DigitalOcean.
• Knowledge of containerization tools such as Docker.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
