Overview

The Financial Accountant is responsible for financial accounting, reporting, compliance, and audit functions at the group level. This role ensures accurate financial statements and adherence to regulatory standards while supporting internal audit processes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
• Conduct internal audits and assist with external audits.
• Prepare tax filings and ensure tax compliance.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial alignment.
• Monitor and analyze financial performance metrics.
• Assist in the development of financial policies and procedures.
• Maintain financial records and documentation.
• Provide financial insights to management for decision-making.
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in financial accounting.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with group-level financial reporting is a plus.
