About Donely
Donely is an always-on AI agent for your Mac — your personal “Jarvis,” designed to turn to-do lists into done lists. It can see your screen, listen to your voice, and automatically capture and complete tasks in the background. Unlike simple note-taking tools, Donely actually gets things done — drafting emails, scheduling meetings, following up on reminders, and handling repetitive workflows so you can focus on what matters.
Our mission is simple: make computers work for you, not the other way around.
Role Overview
As a Frontend Developer Intern, you’ll be part of the core team building Donely’s interface — the visual bridge between human and AI. You’ll work closely with our designers and backend engineers to craft magical, responsive, and intuitive UI experiences that make automation feel trustworthy, transparent, and alive.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and refine Donely’s Mac-style frontend — including task dashboard, onboarding flow, and F-Score visualizations.
- Implement interactive UI elements such as transparency controls, task animations, and privacy dashboards.
- Collaborate on design systems and component libraries that scale across the Donely ecosystem.
- Work with the backend (FastAPI / Electron / Swift bridge) to integrate real-time updates and task logs.
- Help shape the first-run experience — onboarding, micro-animations, and gamified feedback loops.
- Contribute creative ideas to improve usability, accessibility, and the sense of “magic” in everyday interactions.
What We’re Looking For
- Prior experience in frontend development (personal projects, freelance work, or internships).
- Familiarity with React, Next.js, or Electron, and a good grasp of HTML/CSS/JavaScript fundamentals.
- A strong design sensibility — you appreciate clean, intuitive interfaces.
- Curiosity about AI, automation, and macOS-style product design.
- A portfolio or GitHub profile showcasing previous work (even small projects).
Nice to Have
- Experience with Tailwind CSS, React, and NextJS.
- Exposure to TypeScript or Swift for cross-platform components.
- Interest in AI agent interfaces or Generative UI.
