Job Role:

Our client, a leading provider of programmatic advertising solutions, is looking for a senior-level DSP (Demand-Side Platform) Account Executive to drive growth across its digital advertising platform, where your success will directly impact its market presence and revenue in Indonesia.

The Senior Account Executive will play a key role in expanding the client base among Indonesian brands and domestic advertisers, helping them adopt the company's marketing technology solutions to improve campaign performance and ROI.

This is a hands-on hunting role that requires strong business development capabilities, networking with marketing decision-makers, and the ability to drive end-to-end client acquisition — from prospecting to closing and post-sales relationship management. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a strong network in the digital advertising ecosystem, particularly among marketing brand teams, media buyers, and digital agencies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Acquisition & Relationship Building
    • Identify, approach, and secure partnerships with local and domestic clients, focusing on brands, marketing teams, and advertisers.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers responsible for digital media budgets and campaign planning.
    • Conduct door-to-door or direct outreach to uncover new business opportunities within the Indonesian market.
  • Sales Strategy & Execution
    • Present the programmatic and marketing technology solutions to clients, highlighting value propositions aligned with their advertising goals.
    • Develop and execute sales plans to meet or exceed assigned revenue and client acquisition targets.
    • Prepare proposals, negotiate terms, and close deals independently.
  • Account Management & Retention
    • Manage and grow existing client accounts, ensuring satisfaction and long-term engagement.
    • Collaborate with internal operations and product teams to ensure successful campaign implementation and optimization.
    • Monitor performance metrics, analyze results, and propose data-driven improvements.
  • Market Development & Reporting
    • Stay informed on digital advertising trends, competitors, and local market developments.
    • Provide regular reports and insights on client activity, performance, and sales forecasts.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Educational Qualification: At least Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related fields.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in digital advertising sales, media sales, or business development, with exposure to local brands or advertisers.
  • Industry Expertise:
    • Experienced working in digital advertising agencies.
    • Strong understanding of digital media buying, ad tech, and online marketing platforms.
    • Established connections with marketing brand teams, media planners, and advertising decision-makers.
  • Language Proficiency: Excellent command of English on business and professional level, to communicate with the global teams on a daily basis.
  • Professional Skills:
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills; self-motivated and results-driven with strong initiative.
    • Proactive hunter with experience in door-to-door or direct client acquisition.
