Our client is a joint venture between a considerable EV battery manufacturers from Chine, and Indonesia’s state-owned enterprises. The collaboration was formed to build Indonesia’s first large-scale electric vehicle (EV) battery manufacturing ecosystem, combining the principal company's world-leading lithium-ion technology with Indonesia’s rich mineral resources and industrial capability.

Job Role:

The Performance & Cost Control Manager will be responsible for developing, monitoring, and optimizing key operational systems within the manufacturing environment, including KPI management, cost control, and accounting coordination.

This role ensures alignment between operational performance and strategic business goals, while maintaining strict compliance with production, financial, and reporting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• KPI Management
  • Develop and manage KPI systems, ensuring targets are measurable, consistent, and aligned with production goals.
  • Assist in system platform development and operations, including KPI definition, standard mapping, and reporting.
  • Formulate and standardize KPI documentation, ensuring consistency across all sites and departments.
• Cost Control
  • Lead budgeting and cost planning, breaking down cost elements by department or process.
  • Identify cost management indicators and conduct ongoing monitoring and analysis.
  • Drive cost improvement initiatives and implement best practices for cost efficiency.
  • Support P&L management system optimization and cost structure standardization.
• Accounting
  • Oversee project BON and work order BOM validation and maintenance.
  • Monitor production accounting treatment, overdue materials, and raw material usage.
  • Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure data accuracy between accounts and actual stock.
  • Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve operational discrepancies.

Candidate Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
• Experience:
  • At least 8 years of working experience in Finance or Accounting functions and roles.
  • Minimum 5 years in Cost Control within the Manufacturing industries.
  • Proven experience in ERP or MES systems and KPI performance tracking.
• Technical Skills:
  • Strong in data analysis, cost management, and system optimization.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Language:
  • Proficient in English on business level.
  • Fluent in Mandarin on business level for daily coordination with expat supervisors.
