Job Overview:
The Cricket Business Researcher will analyze and interpret data related to the cricket industry to provide actionable insights for business growth and strategic decision-making. The role focuses on researching market trends, audience engagement, sponsorship performance, and commercial opportunities within local and international cricket.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth market research and data analysis on cricket leagues, teams, players, and fans.
- Track sponsorship, brand visibility, and partnership trends across cricket events.
- Evaluate audience engagement metrics and media performance reports.
- Prepare research reports, dashboards, and presentations for internal and client use.
- Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and revenue streams within the cricket ecosystem.
- Support marketing and strategy teams with insights to enhance brand positioning in cricket-related projects.
- Stay updated on cricket industry developments, tournament structures, and commercial movements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sports Management, Economics, Statistics, or related field.
- Strong analytical and research skills with proficiency in Excel, Power BI, or similar tools.
- Good understanding of cricket formats, leagues, and industry structure.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to interpret data and provide clear, actionable insights.
- Prior experience in sports analytics, market research, or cricket business is an advantage.
