About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Accounts Director to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in client relationship management, strategic account growth, and financial oversight within the events, marketing, or creative industries.

As an Accounts Director, you will lead key client accounts, manage a small team of account managers/executives, and ensure the successful delivery of high-impact events and campaigns. You’ll act as a strategic partner to clients—driving satisfaction, retention, and long-term business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the management of major client accounts, ensuring all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standard.
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to grow client relationships and identify new business opportunities.
  • Oversee budgets, financial forecasting, and profitability of accounts.
  • Collaborate closely with the creative, production, and operations teams to deliver seamless event experiences.
  • Lead, mentor, and support account managers and executives to achieve team objectives.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports, proposals, and post-event evaluations.
  • Ensure all client communications and deliverables align with company standards and brand values.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitors, and emerging opportunities in the events sector.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in account management or client services, preferably within an events, marketing, or communications agency.
  • Proven track record in managing large-scale events and client portfolios.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets and forecasts.
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Fluency in English (both written and spoken) is essential.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM/project management tools.
