The Job

• Provide strategic and academic leadership to the Faculty of IT, ensuring excellence in teaching, research, and innovation.
• Oversee curriculum development, academic quality assurance, and programme accreditation aligned with industry and global standards.
• Lead, mentor, and develop academic staff to foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
• Drive partnerships with industry, professional bodies, and international universities to enhance learning and research opportunities.
• Manage faculty operations, budgets, and resources effectively to achieve institutional goals.

The Person

• A PhD or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline, with a strong academic and professional track record.
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in academia, including leadership or administrative roles within higher education.
• Demonstrated ability to lead academic teams and manage multidisciplinary programmes.
• Strong understanding of emerging trends in IT education, research, and industry applications.
• Excellent communication, strategic thinking, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Candidates seeking appointment on a sabbatical basis will also be considered.
