We are looking for a dynamic and goal-driven Sales Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, building strong customer relationships, and achieving sales targets. This role requires excellent communication, negotiation skills, and a passion for sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through field visits, calls, and networking
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients
- Conduct product/service presentations and follow up on leads
- Achieve monthly sales targets and prepare sales reports
- Participate in sales promotions, exhibitions, and marketing activities
- Handle customer inquiries and provide after-sales support
- Negotiate pricing and close deals in line with company policies
- Coordinate with internal teams (logistics, finance, customer service) to ensure smooth order processing
- Maintain updated customer database and market feedback
- Monitor competitor activities and market trends
Required Qualifications & Skills
- GCE A/L or Diploma in Sales, Marketing, or related field
- 1–2+ years experience in sales (FMCG / Retail / Corporate / B2B preferred)
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Target-driven mindset with a positive attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Computer literacy (Email, MS Office)
- Valid driving/riding license (if field sales) – optional based on job type
- Fluent in Sinhala / Tamil, with basic English communication
