Job Title: Senior Audit Supervisor

Position Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Audit Supervisor with a minimum of 5 to 7 years of progressive experience in auditing and assurance services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising audit engagements, managing audit teams, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality audit services to clients in compliance with relevant standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage multiple audit engagements concurrently.
• Lead planning meetings, risk assessments, and audit strategies.
• Review audit working papers and ensure quality standards are maintained.
• Liaise with clients to obtain required information and resolve audit issues.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate audit staff, promoting professional development.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, ISA, and local regulations.
• Prepare and present comprehensive audit reports to clients and senior management.
• Assist in developing internal auditing policies, procedures, and methodologies.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, risks, and compliance requirements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Professional qualification (CA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent) is required.
• Minimum 5-7 years of relevant audit experience, including supervisory roles.
• Strong knowledge of auditing standards, accounting principles, and risk management.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in audit tools and Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in both internal and external audits.
• Familiarity with audit software (e.g., CaseWare, IDEA).
• Exposure to diverse industries and business environments.
