Role Overview
We’re looking for an Onboarding Agent who’s both people-focused and detail-oriented. You’ll be the first point of contact for new clients as they set up on Rooster — guiding them through the implementation process, managing their data imports, and ensuring they have a smooth start.
Key Responsibilities
- Guide new clients through the onboarding process from start to finish.
- Collect, clean, and format HR, payroll, and employee data using Excel.
- Import and validate client data within the Rooster platform.
- Conduct onboarding calls or training sessions with HR teams.
- Coordinate with internal teams (Support, Product, Success) to resolve any setup issues.
- Track onboarding milestones and ensure timely completion.
- Maintain accurate onboarding records and documentation.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in customer onboarding, HR operations, or data handling.
- Strong Excel skills — formulas, lookups, pivot tables, data cleaning, etc.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets.
- Strong communication skills in English (Sinhala/Tamil a plus).
- Ability to multitask and manage several clients at once.
- Familiarity with HR software, CRMs, or SaaS platforms is an advantage.
