The Service Technician is responsible for installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining Audio Visual (AV) and Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems at client sites. This role ensures all systems are functioning efficiently, meets project standards, and provides timely support and service to customers. The technician will also assist in system testing, documentation, and handover processes.**
Key Responsibility:**
- Diagnose technical issues and perform repairs on-site or in a service center.
- Troubleshoot problems, and ensure timely resolution.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks and preventative servicing.
- Maintain service logs, reports, and documentation accurately.
- Train end-users or customers on proper use and maintenance of equipment.
- Coordinate with the service team or engineering department and Logistics team for escalations.
- Ensure compliance with safety and operational procedures during service tasks.
- Maintain tools and testing equipment in good working order.
- Communicate effectively with customers to understand issues and provide updates.
Candidate’s Profile
- HND or Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, or a related technical field.
- 2 - 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Solid understanding of Electronics, electrical, or IT systems
- Ability to read technical diagrams and manuals.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
