About the Role

The SDR will act as the pipeline engine of the sales team — responsible for generating, qualifying, and nurturing leads to maintain a consistent daily demo volume. This role directly influences revenue by ensuring high-quality demos and warm, engaged prospects enter the sales pipeline.

This is not just a calling job. The SDR will manage lead sourcing, qualification, WhatsApp nurturing, referral campaigns, and annual plan promotion warming.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead Generation & Demo Booking

  • Execute 200+ touchpoints per day (calls, messages, WhatsApp, email).
  • Respond to incoming WhatsApp inquiries within minutes.
  • Re-engage dormant leads and recycle pipeline opportunities.
  • Maintain a minimum of 12 demos/day scheduled across the team.

2. Lead Qualification

Assess prospects based on:

  • Business size
  • HR requirement & pain points
  • Budget suitability
  • Implementation timeline
  • Industry use case
  • Readiness to adopt a software solution

Only relevant leads should be forwarded to the demo calendar.

3. Pipeline Nurturing & Follow-Up

  • Send structured WhatsApp reminders prior to demos.
  • Share quick voice notes to handle objections and FAQs.
  • Reschedule no-shows and keep prospects warm through sustained engagement.
  • Maintain high show-up rates through well-timed reminders.

4. Referral Program Management

  • Run a monthly referral outreach campaign with existing customers.
  • Request and nurture referrals until demo stage.
  • Fast-track referred leads due to higher intent and conversion probability.

KPIs & Performance Metrics

  • 12 demos per day enabled
  • 200+ outbound touchpoints daily
  • Increased demo show-up rates
  • Qualified leads forwarded to demo team
  • Growth in referral-based demos
  • Interest generated in annual plan offers

Required Skills & Experience

Must-Have

  • Strong communication in English + Sinhala/Tamil
  • Fast response and follow-up discipline
  • Persuasive and engaging personality
  • Familiarity with WhatsApp-based sales communication
  • Ability to manage objections professionally

Good-to-Have

  • Experience in B2B software or HR solutions
  • SDR/Inside Sales/Tele-Sales/Customer Support background
  • Understanding of payroll/attendance/HR processes
  • Excel/Google Sheets proficiency for lead management
